Character Who Can See The Future?

There’s a character in a book im writing who can know the future. Keep in mind HE DOESN’T SEE THE FUTURE HE JUST KNOWS. He can know what the outcome of any decision who make will be. Its like extrasensory perception. I need to prove to another character that he can do this and i was wondering how i should do that? any suggestions?
Also, the explaining takes place in a cafeteria in a school so you can use that to your advantage if you like. :)

Maybe something creepy, like his friend has a crush on a girl. She walks past the table, and the friend says “damn, she’s cute” and the psychic character says something like “It’s a shame she’ll be dead by the end of the week, along with her friends Stacy and Kiera.”
    “Ain’t funny dude”
“The three of them will be standing at the crossing after hanging out at the mall. They’ll be hit by a car. The driver will have suffered a fatal heart attack and his foot gets stuck on the accellerator.”
He then makes a prediction about the pudding (like the poster above suggested)
You could maybe do a side story of the friend agonising on if he should tell this girl how he feels, should he try and save her, or let her die?
It also adds a tension to their friendship, how much is the psychic prepared to trust his friend, is the 6th sense 100% accurate or can the future be changed. If so, what price is paid for tampering with the future?
Does the friend believe the psychic when he makes other predeictions (believing the psychic is lying to him to stop him doing anything). Is he prepared to tamper with the future to save people, despite his friends apparent reluctance and warnings against meddling?
